Introduction to an Energy Efficent America

I am starting this blog to highlight some of the things that I have researched for many years. I will cover anything and everything related to becoming energy efficient or even going off the grid all together. In todays world there is not just one alternative to coal, oil or even nuclear power but you need to decide what solution is best for you and your family.

The oldest of all energy sources is the Sun. it has been used for it's power since the dawn of time to provide fuel for plants to grow as well as even drying your clothes if you hang them outside.

Some people are going green because it's the hip thing to do and have lost the meaning of the movement amidst the carbon footprint and credit fallacy. The truth is that every planet in our solar system as well as others are heating up; have we polluted the universe?

The real issue that needs to be addressed is our dependence on depleting fuels for the energy to power our society. The genius that gave us the modern age died penniless because he believed that no one should be deprived of or charged excessive fees for electrical power. Of course I am talking about Nicola Tesla, he set me off on my journey to find an alternative energy source that everyone can benefit from not just the very rich.
